111 exclusive Wine Cases to taste the refined Pinot Noir 2001 of the Maison Masùt da Rive
The Maison Masùt da Rive, the historic winery of Friuli led by the Gallo family with strong devotion and passion, presents the exclusive Pinot Noir 2001, aged and refined in bottle for 10 years in a limited and unique edition, available from next November 11th.
The Pinot Noir has always been considered a rarity in the Italian scene and an extremely precious because it is made in limited quantities and only in vintages that offer excellent grapes.
The special edition presented by Masùt da Rive consists of 111 wine cases containing 6 bottles each of Pinot Noir of 2001, obtained exclusively from the grape harvest in the family’s vineyards located in the small village of Mariano del Friuli and represents one of the rare examples of a successful wine testing in Italy for this typology of wine.
The 2001 vintage, characterized by a hot and dry climate, gave an excellent harvest with intense aromas. The 100% Pinot Noir grape variety, with a wild personality and rather difficult to tame, has allowed to produce a wine that has continued the own ten-year refinement in bottle, reaching so high levels to satisfy completely the most discerning palates and include the label in the élite of the Italian Pinot Noir.
The long wait was essential to give the wine the own structure and all its aromatic richness that we currently enjoy.

Masùt da Rive flies to China to join Interwine 2011
Also this year Masùt da Rive flies to China and participates in the Interwine China 2011, the high prestige exhibition, among the world’s most important one for the wine sector. It takes place in the amazing Guangzhou, a cosmopolitan and of great creative imagination city.
Interwine China can be considered the most important international showcase for the entire Asian region and it is an event involving major players of the oenological world.
Many Master of WIne will be present to talk about their experiences during the various conferences and seminars.

Masùt da Rive meets the bloggers in Cormons (Gorizia) – Italy
Coming from all around the world, some of the most popular bloggers on the Net have come directly from the nearby Franciacorta, where has just completed the third edition of the Wine Bloggers Conference held for the first time in Italy, choosing, among many possible Italian stages, to visit Friuli Venezia Giulia, a land of wines yet to be discovered.
Thanks to the commitment and collaboration of the Consortium DOC Isonzo and its director Pierpaolo Penco, the winebloggers were able to observe up close and taste the wines produced in this rich and generous land.
A sunny day had received these ”writers of the Web” of an informal-style. The meeting started with a funny and nice tasting and it continued with a pleasant exclusive dinner with a combination of local food and the prestigious labels served for the occasion.
